"Influence in Iraq" and "boots in Syria" was never Iranian power — it was Iranian humiliation.
Every time someone brags that the Islamic Republic "stretched Iran's wings to the Mediterranean," what they're really celebrating is Iran being spent as fuel for a sectarian project.
Do the math:
▪️ For the Islamic Republic? Maybe a profit.
▪️ For Iran? Only loss, ruin, isolation, disgrace — and a hatred planted in the peoples of the region that will be hard to repair even after this regime is gone.
And the sharpest irony: self-described nationalists who claim to oppose the regime, yet parrot the exact same "Axis of Resistance" pride as the Basiji and the IRGC officer.
So ask it plainly: where is this vaunted power? In whose pocket? Certainly not in the Iranian people's.
💬 Tell us in the comments — did the Axis of Resistance ever benefit IRAN itself? Share this with someone who still believes the myth.
