73 years after August 1953, everyone who took part — on either side — is dead. The argument isn't.

Whose inheritance are we still paying?
Whose rights are we claiming — and to whom do we hand them?
Who is left to collect?
His point is sharper than nostalgia: while a regime that has killed, bereaved and displaced people *this year* holds power, refighting 1953 is energy stolen from the present.
