Take the oil slicks around Qeshm seriously. These images are from the waters around Qeshm Island. That means the oil is coming from inside Iran itself — not from somewhere else. Someone opened the valve and let it run into the Persian Gulf. I've said this many times: this is the Islamic Republic's next phase of war. If it can't keep fighting, if it can't sell its oil, it will spill that oil across the entire Gulf. The environment, the people, the world, the pollution — none of it matters to them. They are simply incapable of thinking on that level. I have no proof yet, and I'm saying that openly: in my view this is not a simple "leak." And within weeks these slicks will multiply until the Persian Gulf faces an irreversible ecological catastrophe.
