What does "resilience" actually mean in the Islamic Republic's dictionary?
Iran's economy minister says their top priority is "resilience." Translated honestly: the regime must survive — no matter how many Iranians are crushed in the process.
▪️ Meat prices people can't afford — doesn't matter.
▪️ Fuel shortages — doesn't matter.
▪️ The price of bread — doesn't matter.
▪️ Blackouts in brutal heat, bakeries throwing away dough — doesn't matter.
Because the life of an Iranian human being simply isn't part of the equation.
Yesterday a state TV host said: "Southern Iran sacrificed for southern Lebanon."
And Mirbagheri — once floated as a candidate to succeed Khamenei — said: "Even if half the world dies, it doesn't matter." That's four billion people.
These aren't slips of the tongue. They're policy statements.
