"You are the leader you're chanting against." In this clip, Iraj Mesdaghi dissects Rajavi's new directive: chant "death to the oppressor, be it Shah or Leader" forty times during Arbaeen. Mesdaghi's point is devastatingly simple — this is Khomeini's playbook. Khomeini turned the Hajj pilgrimage into a political rally with "death to America, death to Israel." Khamenei repeated it. Hundreds died for that slogan. Now the same instinct returns from the opposition side: religious ritual weaponized into obligatory political chanting, forty times, on command. Then the turn: Khomeini and Khamenei held power 47 years. The man issuing this order has been "leader" for 55 years — unelected, unchallenged, unquestioned.
