"They want to keep you standing on the hill you already captured."
Iraj Mesdaghi uses a battlefield metaphor to separate slogans from strategy:
▪️ We took out the first turret
▪️ We captured the hill
▪️ We cleared the rear lines
▪️ Now we're advancing on the command headquarters
Yet some insist we march back to that same hill and just keep shouting.
His point: "Woman, Life, Freedom" was a profoundly progressive slogan and must stay at the forefront of the struggle — even after victory, because that's when it finally has to be implemented in practice, not just chanted.
And the closing note: Prince Reza Pahlavi is the one most claiming to make that slogan operational — the difference between repeating a slogan and delivering it.
Where do you stand: on the hill, or on the road to the command HQ? Tell us in the comments.
