The alternative matters more than anything. He says the replacement shouldn't be Islamist — that's exactly my point. So why in the same breath promote the MEK? Talking up the MEK IS promoting a radical Islamist movement. This is an organization with an anti-American anthem, one that calls America the enemy and treats the killing of American soldiers as a badge of honor. That's the alternative?
