چرا ۲۵۸۵؟Why 2585?

تقویمِ شاهنشاهی سال را از کوروش می‌شمارد، از ایرانِ پیش از این رژیم. هر بار که می‌نویسیم ۲۵۸۵، همان را تکرار می‌کنیم: ایران هزاران سال پیش از جمهوری اسلامی بود و پس از آن هم خواهد بود. The Shahanshahi calendar counts from Cyrus, from the Iran that came before this regime. Every time we write 2585, we say it again: Iran was here for millennia before the Islamic Republic, and it will be here after.

آن‌ها تا به تقویم هم دست بردند؛ ما پسش گرفتیم. سال‌به‌سال جلوش می‌بریم، تا روزی که ۲۵۸۵ را نه در تبعید، که در تهران بنویسیم. They laid hands on everything, down to the calendar. We took it back, and we move it forward year by year, until we write it not in exile but in Tehran.

• ◆ صدای انقلاب. تحلیل‌گران و صداهای اپوزیسیون: تحلیلی که بازیِ رژیم را لو می‌دهد، و خبرِ امروز با معنایش برای ایران. The voice of the revolution. Opposition analysts and voices: analysis that exposes the regime's game, and the day's news with what it means for Iran.
• ◆ حرفِ خودشان. کلیپ از مردانِ خودِ رژیم: با متن و تاریخ، قابل‌جست‌وجو، با پروندهٔ هر چهره. حرف از دهانِ خودشان، نگه‌داشته به‌عنوان سند. Their own words. Clips of the regime's own men: transcribed, dated, searchable, a dossier on every face. Said by them, kept as evidence.
• ◆ نامِ کشته‌شدگان. یادشان را با نام نگه می‌داریم. نه عدد، نه آمار؛ آدم، با نام و چهره و قصه‌ای که باید گفته شود. The killed, by name. Not numbers, not statistics. People, with names, faces, and the stories that must be told.
