🔴 They wanted 100,000 volunteers... only 2,000 signed up. In 1980–81, kids forged their IDs just to reach the war front. But by 1988, when the regime called for the "100,000-strong Army of Muhammad," only 2,000 people across the entire country responded. Why? Because the people had realized the war had become a business for the regime. As Javad Mansouri, the first IRGC commander, later admitted: "Without the war, we would have been overthrown in the second year of the revolution."
